OMG! Yes, it's true everyone - my I-tunes updates fried my hard drive. Apparently some application called "Safari" is NOT compatible with my version of Windows (it's the whole Mac/PC thing) and caused my poor, poor computer to go kaput!
Oh well, the Geek Squad is recovering my data files hopefully as I type this from some secret remote location (oh, that sounds so cool, but I promise you, this adventure is so NOT cool!). Anyway, I am *hoping* to be up and running again by Friday evening. Keep your fingers crossed and say your prayers!
BTW, if you had registered for one of my April classes or for the special Scrapbook Purse class, please send me a new e-mail so I can re-create my rsvp list. Thanks guys - you are the best, most patient stampers in the world! (e-mail: stampwithrobin@yahoo.com)
Ciao!

Still no computer......
Even my dh couldn't fix it this time, now it's up to my heroes the Geek Squad. Sorry guys, I'm posting remotely and checking my e-mail, but if you haven't heard from me, don't worry, I'm still here! If you are looking for class schedules, just go to my website at www.robinstamps4u.stampinup.net All my April classes and camps are there and as best I can remember (since the file is on my computer!) I still have a few openings for each one.
Thanks for being patient - trust me, I have some great stuff to post for you once I have all my capabilites back.......
Happy Wednesday!

Computer Trouble
Yes, I do have a love/hate relationship with my computer - I love to hate it! And especially today, because after running updates last night, it would not allow me to do any thing on it today! I am posting from our kitchen computer which has NO stamping stuff on it so I can't even post a picture for you yet. I'm hoping my DH can get it working this evening so I can post what I've been working on, so hang in there - I'll be back!

Skating - not stamping this week!
I know some of you have wondered why I've not posted since last Wednesday! Yikes! But, hopefully, you can tell by the big smiles and the GOLD MEDALS that our family has been a bit busy with skating the past few days.
My dd is on the right in this photo. She and her friend are so excited because they took first place on Saturday in the Synchronized championships for our skating district! Their team of 12 skaters have been competing since January at locations all up and down the east coast and this is their first Gold medal this season!
DD also competed in the singles events yesterday and brought home a SILVER medal for her efforts!
We are just so proud and I had to share!
I'll be back with more stamping fun tomorrow - have a great Monday!

NEW Stamp Set Close Ups - As promised!
Hello everyone! Yesterday I promised to share close up photos of the images in the four new stamp sets that were on the display board. Well, here they are and each with a stamped sample.
First up is Inspired by Nature and it's hard to tell from the photo, but the ribbon is actually Old Olive wide grosgrain EMBOSSED with White EP! How cool is that! I'll be trying out that technique this week, for sure!
The second photo is of "Fresh Cut Notes" which features that beautiful collage stamp. We were told that this trend is going to be very in this fall and of course, Stampin' Up! is right there with it. I love how the sample uses the collage stamp as the background on the So Saffron cardstock.
The third photo is of "Organic Outlines" and honestly, until I saw the samples they did with it, didn't appeal to me much, but just look at the beautiful card on the display board! Just goes to show that you can't always tell the beauty of something with a first look.
Lastly, the fourth stamp set is "Upsy Daisy" and is much more special when you view the samples done with it. Brent Steele from SU! corporate demoed this onstage for us and acutally decorated a pair of child's denim pants with the daisy stamp. He used fabric paint and stamped the image multiple times over the pocket and at the hem. It was super cute! Again, I can't wait to try that out!
I hope you are enjoying these sneak peeks! I'm enjoying sharing with you all!
Until tomorrow!

Sneak Peek of the Fabulous Fall Collection
Yes, stampers, there they are in all their glory - the NEW IN COLORS! I was so excited to see them and the cool new stamp sets that are coming our way in August. We were all ooohing and aaahing with every new product presented.
It was so exciting to be in the General Session. There were stamping demonstrations on stage, with some beautiful projects being shown - and LOTS of NEW SU! goodies! I have pictures of most everything and I'll be sharing them over the next few days so stay tuned.
The new In Colors are from top to bottom: Pink Pirouette (a very Cotton Candy pink), Riding Hood Red (not Real Red, but not too orangey either), Tangerine Tango (like a blood orange color), Kiwi Kiss (very close to kiwi fruit, but with a bit of yellow tinge), Baja Breeze (kind of a cross between Soft Sky and Cool Caribbean), and lastly Pacific Point (very close to Brilliant Blue, but more tropical feeling).
The stamp sets are from top to bottom: Inspired by Nature; Fresh Cut Notes; Organic Outlines and Upsy Daisy. I'll post close ups tomorrow!
Have a great evening!

Where is my Cabin Steward?!
Yes, it is a sad thing to return to reality and realize that I have to make my own bed and clean my own bathroom! And don't even mention the laundry! :)
WOW! What a wonderful week on the Stampin' Up! cruise. I've said it before, but it bears repeating - Stampin' Up! is a class act company. I am so glad to be affiliated with this organization that treats all of it's relationships with care.
I would love to be able to pack you all in my suitcase and take you along with me if I am fortunate enough to earn the Hawaii trip this year. You won't believe how wonderful everything was! We had presents on our beds each night, a sneak preview of new stamp sets, papers and the NEW IN Colors from the Fall/Winter Collection, and they even gave us one of the new stamp sets to stamp with and make samples to bring home. How cool is that?! There was even a reception for all the husbands and they were given a gift as well. (No, it wasn't stamps, darn it!)
Thanks again to all of you, clients and my rockin' downline who made it possible for Mark and I to enjoy this trip. I couldn't do what I do without you!
I hope you enjoy the few pictures I've posted today from the trip. I'll be posting some others later on, but wanted to get something new on the blog since I've neglected you for a week!
Enjoy!
