Mark's Egg and Cheese Strata

Mark’s Egg and Cheese Strata

1 package of refrigerator biscuits (5-8 biscuits)
1/2 pound sage sausage
6 eggs
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp. chopped onion flakes
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
1 cup shredded cheese (I prefer cheddar blends but the meal will work with most soft and semi-soft cheeses)

Bake biscuits following package instructions
Fry crumbled sausage. Drain excess fat.
Combine eggs, onions, parsley, lemon pepper, and 2/3 of cheese
Tear biscuits into 3 or 4 pieces.
Fold biscuit pieces and sausage into egg mixture
Spray an 8x8 baking dish with non-stick spray
Transfer contents into baking dish
Bake at 325 for 12-15 minutes until eggs are done
Sprinkle remaining cheese on bake and return to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted
Let cool for 5 minutes
Makes 6-9 servings depending on how you slice it.

You can also serve it with Salsa and Sour Cream for a different flavor!
