Happy Monday stampers!
Did you have a good weekend? Mine was very full (busy!) but good as I got to be home or near home all weekend! My Sunday afternoon nap was VERY satisfying this week! :)
Today I'm headed out to Tyson's Corner Mall to hopefully finish up back to school shopping with Emma. I swear that girl has grown two inches this summer! She has outgrown all of her clothes, is almost an inch taller than me and now has a bigger shoe size than me. I love that she is going to be so tall - maybe it will keep the boys away! :)
Anyway, my card for you today is one that I created last week for my classes and parties - all the stampers loved it and I hope you do too!

Anyway, my card for you today is one that I created last week for my classes and parties - all the stampers loved it and I hope you do too!
It's so very simple - I took the Elements of Style stamp set and heat embossed the floral spray image with Gold embossing powder and my heat tool on Whisper White cardstock. I laid down a piece of Sticky Strip on the cardstock and finger pleated a piece of Whisper White Organza Ribbon across the front. It's not perfect, but it's not meant to be; it's supposed to be 'elegantly random'! :)
This cardstock was mounted on a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock then mounted on a folded Whisper White card base. The greeting was gold embossed as well and punched out with the Large Oval Punch and layered on a piece of Cherry Cobbler punched with the Scalloped Oval Punch. I popped it up using Stampin' Dimensionals and that's the whole card!
You really don't have to throw everything on a card to create something lovely - sometimes less is more and I feel that way about this card.
Soon, I'll be posting a monthly special feature on the Stamping 411 Blog highlighting Clean and Simple Stamping. It will post on the 4th Wednesday of each month so be looking for more "less is more" cards to come!
Have a wonderful Monday stamping friends!
Be sure to stop by my Stampin' Up! website today - there are many new items on the Clearance Rack - retired colors of cardstock included, so don't miss the chance to stock up!
Stamped Blessings,
~~Robin
