Time for the PLxSU4U Blog Hop with my Advisory Board sisters. Each month we highlight Project Life projects and products to give you fresh new ideas for this awesome memory keeping system.
You may have come from my friend Jodi Reinert's Blog and I know she had some fantastic ideas for you! If you missed it, click on the icon below to go back and check it out.
Here's my highlighted project this month - it's part of a class I'll be offering in April! I used the Framed Love Refill kit from Paper Pumpkin to create this page in the 6" x 8" album size.
The colors I used for this page lent themselves perfectly for some Easter pictures that I'd never put in a scrapbook or album. I love these memories so much. And I really love that I was able to create this page in less than 15 minutes, journaling included.
I used the Indescribable Gift stamp set to create a background image on the piece of Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock that my journaling is on. The heart is one of the punch outs included in the kit. It's adhered directly to the card. I've always liked "lumpy" scrapbook pages and my Project Life pages are no different - so the button element on the journaling card is on the outside of the pocket, adhered with a Glue Dot.
I did the same thing for the lower photo/card insert, the button is on the outside.
The heart outline around the photo of my daughter is on the outside of the pocket as well. I used a bit of SNAIL to adhere it around her sweet face.
I actually used the kit to create 3 different out of the box projects - this one included - and I'm really excited to be sharing them in a class. I'll be showing you the rest of the projects later this week once my April class schedule is posted. And there will also be a Class-to-Go option for this one along with tutorial videos and printable pdf instructions sheets.
Here's a picture of the kit contents as it comes:
If you're a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you may already have the original kit at home - did you complete it? If not, now you know there are plenty of alternate uses for it! :)
Our blog hop takes you next to my friend Sharon Armstrong's blog - click the icon below to head over there and see the cute creations she has for you!
Happy Creating everyone!
